Currently, there is a bill in Congress introduced by Rep. Peter Sessions (R-TX) and cosponsored by Rep. James Langevin (D-RI) “expressing the sense of Congress that a commemorative postage stamp should be issued to promote public awareness of Down syndrome.”
The bill, H. Con. Res. 28, has been referred to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and you can track it’s progress here.
