For fishermen, on Father’s Day

This week I’m thinking about fathers. I write about fishing, storytelling and family tradition in “A Little More” at ParentDish.

  1. Thanks, Jen, for the memories. Your stories are always just about everyday events, yet they tell your readers how lucky those around you are to be part of your family. Can’t get any better than that!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I have to agree with Claudia’s comment (at the PD site). I diligently visit all the autism blogs I read on a regular basis, sometimes getting my head spinning so fast with all the “stuff” to think about. Then, when I can’t think straight for all the “cure” and “mercury” and alphabet soup that comes with the territory of a chid with autism, I meander on over to Pinwheels. Yep, I save your blog for last —like the last bite of rich, dark chocolate to finish off a great meal. 🙂

You really have a way of capturing the moments so many of us miss in our hurry to “get it done.” I am always reminded to stop, breathe, slow down…and FEEL each time I read your posts. Without fail, I am calmed and centered by the time I leave.
