  1. What a neat story of memories. The mystery of the grama is fascinating to me! I have so many great christmas memories at my grandparents. Thanks for the reminder of just sitting and remembering!!!!!
I hope you guys had a great christmas. any word when the book will be out?

  2. Sending you and your family warm Christmas wishes and happiness for the year to come 🙂

Thank you for your gift of writing, it stirs us all throughout the year.

  3. Jennifer,
I just wanted to stop by and wish you and your lovely boys (all four of them!) a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. It’s been my pleasure and my honor to find you among my friends out here in the blogosphere.

Your writing continues to inspire and astound me. You speak the language of hope…and we could all use a little more of that, no matter what the time of year.

  4. Jennifer, this is so beautifully evocative. It brought to mind my own childhood memories of large family holiday gatherings, of playing with my Nana’s old clothes with my sisters to find the “perfect” outift to wear down to dinner to impress the grown ups…so many strong memories of times filled with love and laughter and warmth. Good things to remember at any time of year.

Wishing you, Tom, Carter, Bennett, and Avery all a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a joyful, prosperous new year. xoxo

  5. Merry Christmas, Jennifer! I love the image of you and your sister in matching red velvet dresses. I remember a year we were all in gold taffeta. Glowing memories.
