I still have more to learn

A few days ago I was in a thrift store, shopping for little boys’ jeans and books and bowls.  I didn’t see what I was looking for, but I found something much more important instead, which I write about this week at ParentDish.

  1. Jennifer, I loved this post. No matter how close to home it hits to interact with someone different from ourselves, it can still sometimes be a challenge. It can still open our eyes to the fact that we might not be as open-minded as we thought. It can also make us be a little more understanding of the awkwardness some people may experience when they encounter our children; not knowing what to do, or say, or how to act. Thanks for the reminder.
