And now we are 6

This is what six-years-old looks like at our house. And if you’re wondering why there are 12 candles on the cake?

It’s this year’s compromise:  I didn’t want to make 2 cakes (too much cake!), and Carter pointed out that taking turns blowing out 6 candles would be unfair, because someone would be first and someone would be last.  So 12 candles it was, 6 for each boy.

Happy Birthday, my sweet sons!

  3. Happy Birthday! You could always relight them. We used to do that when we were kids so everyone got to blow them out, even though it wasn’t their birthday – 5 times! It’s amazing the candles held.

  4. Happy Birthday to the world’s cutest 6-year olds! (But Sweet Jesus!! I saw that title and thought you were pregnant!!!) 😉

  5. Wow, SIX?? How did that happen?!
Wishing you all the happiest of celebrations; there is so much worth celebrating in your beautiful boys, your beautiful family. xo
