I live and write wherever the wind blows me (we’ve moved 4 times in the last 5 years), but always in Montana. I’m the author of a memoir, Road Map to Holland (Penguin/NAL, 2008) and the editor of a collection of poems and essays, My Heart’s First Steps (Adams Media, 2004). Currently, I’m working on a novel (isn’t everyone?).
Here’s another great book I had the good fortune to be a part of, Gifts: Mothers Reflect on How Children with Down Syndrome Enrich Their Lives (Woodbine House, 2016).
I’ve had many adventures as of late, but the grandest continues to be watching (and occasionally helping) my three sons grow into adulthood.
I like: blue dogs, book clubs, sourdough bread, good pickles, the sound the wind makes when it blows through the Aspen leaves, and you! Thank you for being here.
